CM&D - Entry 1

So, it's been quite a whirlwind the past couple of weeks! I've left the job I held for 4 years to start my own business, moved into a new home, started my kids in a new preschool and am learning how to be a stay-at-home dad. Did I mention I'm starting my own business? It's been a slow process, but I am so excited to be taking this adventure. I'm especially excited to start helping the small businesses in my area reach their full marketing and design potential. I recently purchased a PO box for the business, I just got my desk set up, and today I filed the Articles of Organization for the company (Carolina Marketing and Design, L.L.C.). I've had many cups of coffee, taken lots of notes and almost typed some letters off my laptop, thus the image below. I've got a ways to go, but I've mapped out the next steps and will start plugging away at the list, one item at a time.
